Why I Am Writing This!!
Today environment in industry we work, only thing we every day notice is,
dissatisfaction from job or profile we carry and after discussing this with hundreds of employees, what you think are major
reasons behind these dissatisfaction?
Salary Package? Organization policies? Profile mismatch? Individual
growth? Job security? Or so on?
One thing which is very less talked is “Manager” who plays
biggest role in managing people. People manager I believe is toughest job in
corporate world and if you master it this is easiest thing you can do.
When I say “Manager” or “People Manager” this brings a lot
on table like Communication, motivation, enthusiasm, work environment, comfort
zone, flexibility because in most of cases its your manager who decide or
influence all these or many more factors which are important for day to day
life in an office.
Known words “ its good to work with a good manager in a bad
company rather than in a good company with bad manager”.
However definition changes for a good manager for every
individual, may be a manager is not a good manager for employees but if he is
in good books of senior management, he got stamping of good manager.
So back to my original thought that why I am writing this,
When I look back at my experience, have a decent work environment
and a good manager is what everyone crave in industry and as a manager everyone
almost tries to be in good books but somehow there are few mistakes we make and
I am consolidating best practices and some real life experiences in my blog, which might help you to have a good work environment
in your team and you should able to get more productive results from your team.
